Ashley Ehasz Participates in PA-01 Candidate Forum, Fitzpatrick is a No-Show

Bucks County, PA – Yesterday, the nonpartisan voter mobilization organization New Pennsylvania Project (NPP) hosted the PA-01 Congressional Candidate Forum featuring Democrat Ashley Ehasz. The Republican incumbent Brian Fitzpatrick did not accept the invitation from NPP and did not attend, continuing his trend of hiding from public engagement and accountability.

NPP’s Chief Executive Officer Kadida Kenner moderated the discussion with Ehasz, which spanned abortion rights, the economy, immigration, education, healthcare, and democracy.

Ashley Ehasz said, “I'm grateful that the New Pennsylvania Project hosted a forum for PA-01 voters to hear from their candidates last night. I was glad to share my vision for our district and nation with voters - and I was disappointed, but not surprised, that Brian Fitzpatrick didn't even bother to show up. I don't know if he didn't want to be called out on his votes for a national abortion ban or votes to protect Donald Trump, but he owes it to us - his constituents - to answer questions about the most important issues facing our communities. I look forward to holding him accountable in November.”
